Wondering if anything can be done here but one of my brothers was doing a bit of clearing out and came across an old camera complete with a full roll of film. It's 110 and after taking it to one developers was told they no longer work with that type.
Any ideas?

Thanks in anticipation

peak imaging in Sheffield can probably develop the film for you, but not prints.

Mind you a descent subŁ100 scanner with a tranny hood will do the job.

They are very helpful and knowledgeable and will reply to your emails promptly (in my experience)

Hi,we (peak) can process the film but can't print it,well we can but it would prove expensive, with it being old technology (110 film) we don't have the equipment to print it as we would say a 35mm film, therefore we have to treat it as an "odd size" and produce hand prints from a selected area of the negative, hense the high price ,hope that makes sense.
Thanks for the compliment phan,we have probably spoken on the phone before now.

When i worked at Boots, they developed 110s but they had to be sent away, and cost slightly more than an APS film, which used to be over a tenner to develop. It was three years ago when i left, but i'm sure they still do it.

Try a larger branch such as Meadowhall, or High Street as the staff are more aware of services and are used to dealing with these types of film.

Good luck

Just remembered that truprint used to do them as well, can't remember where you get the envelopes from though.
