I was just wondering if anyone else's TV signal has disappeared, we have freeview boxes (another great idea from dad!) which are fab when it works and a much better picture than terrestrial tv but we've lost signal quite a lot. Just wondered if anyone else's TV's have gone off seeing as none of our channels are working or whether it was just our household (probably is! we seem to be damned!)

My freeview signal plays up regularly, and has been over the last few days, I'm in S10, don't know if area makes much difference. I sympathise it is sooooo frustrating!

Did you get your existing aerial and cabling checked at anytime recently? It could be a poor termination, crap cable, bad installation or flaky aerial, or all of the above!

Having said that, digital isn't too hot at the best of times. Amongst other things, I install aerials and even with a perfect signal with low BER (error count) digital still drops out regularly with results from complete loss to freezing temporarily and noise on the picture and\or sound.

Depending how bad your loss of digital is, it could be the best you'll get!
