Get in touch with Street Farce. They'll collect large domestic waste. savbaby 15-05-2005, 16:11 the council will pick it up for a fee of £28 but you get up to 10 large items for that price! cptwhite 15-05-2005, 18:07 we have a regular walk in skip come to our estate every month free of charge...maybe you have something similar? fox20thc 21-05-2005, 14:28 Bring out your rubbish, the result (http://www.wgtara.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/) We had a bring out your rubbish day last week. The council collected tons of the stuff. I honestly don't know where everyone keeps it. The photos show the end of one road, this was repeated on the corner of each street! chaplad 21-05-2005, 15:36 You could email or phone the council to make sure whether they do or not. I would assume that they have something in place for big bulky items like this..... D_A_V 22-05-2005, 01:58 You can confirm this but if you are not a council tennant then they would normally charge you a £28 fee. However a young couple hired dial-a-van (http://www.dial-a-van.co.uk) from Crooks to shirecliffe site to tip a couple of old sofas, and I droped the the young man off back at Crooks, the fare came to £15. Compared to the council rates makes me feel that maybe I'm not charging enough. lol tara 22-05-2005, 10:23 Fox20thc Are the council going to do this on other estates too or was this a trial on one estate.?
