:D just got my hands on the...now a few years old...live dvd of journey with their new singer..and its fantastic!!!
the album they did `arrival' was better (as a whole) then any other album they recorded with steve perry.
best choruses ever! :)....and to my knowledge...NEVER played a uk gig? :( pah
also...if any1 does like journey and can get hold of `eye of the storm by THE STORM' then pick it up....its 3 former journey members and is....well a stormer! of a album :rolleyes:

i saw neil schon at the arena about 13 years ago when he had a band called hardline im sure he played a concert in sheffield this year or last year at the corp

i saw hardline a couple of years ago in bradford at the gods festival...no neil schon..but had been replaced by the guitarist out of THE STORM (see previous mention :) ) so it was all good :)
you should check out arrival! what a great record. `signs of life' is best song on it.
neil schon has recently (or IS soon) coming to shef with his new band `soulsirkus' but the sound clips dont sound to gud to me.. and for a new band the 25 quid fee for corporation!!! is far too much for my liking
25 quid is a awful lot for a gig at the corp i reckon if it was half the price theyd get more in at 25 i reckon the place wil struggle to get 100 in
ill have to get that album when i get back from my hols ,is it a import? im after a album by a band called scandal ive a very worn out tape of it they do a exellent cover of only the young:)
nah not import... shud be able to pick it up cheap in most places.
not heard of scandal...but i do have a fair few journey covers...best one is a bloke called jorn lande (basically david coverdale reborn!!) doing edge of the blade...and it definately improves on the original

It'll take ages. Some of the handwriting on those boxes ain't easy to decipher either.... Mumble.... Mumble... mumble
haha...im sorry..im a music anorak..my stuff is all alphabetically sorted and most of it is on my computer stored in year, genre, artist, personal rating
