Free (funded) circus skills workshops for Burngreave groups/schools

I've recently applied for and received, £500 from 'Burngreave small grants' to be spent on providing circus skills tuition to organisations based in Burngreave.

As the tutor costs are covered by the funding, the workshops will effectively be free to the organisations.

I'm in the process of ringing round schools and community groups in the area.

Please get in touch if you are involved with any Burngreave groups/schools who would like to take advantage of this.

I'm particularly keen to ensure that part of the funding goes towards an adult group- this could be in the form of a 'teambuilding' type session.

The area of Burngreave covered by this funding has the cemetery in the centre and extends down towards Kelham island, right to Carlisle st, up towards abbeyfield Park and Earl marshall recreation ground- when you get in touch please specify the postal address of your organisation so I can check if it's within the specified area.

Activites covered can include juggling, diabolo, poi and various others, from absolute beginner level to as advanced as you want.

Normally this would cost £50-£60/hour, so this is a great opportunity to get some quality tuition for free- it will also be a lot of fun.

Additionally, I'm always keen for community groups and schools benefitting from these sessions to continue progressing in circus skills, so I'll be happy to work with them to achieve a continuing (self-run) circus skils group, possibly by applying for further funding to buy their own equipment etc.

If interested, get in touch via pm, or visit my website (www.davidpanther.co.uk) and email me via the 'contact' page: please include a contact telephone number.

feel free to ask any questions on this thread.
