I'm looking for a riding school which has an indoor arena and does lessons on weekday evenings, preferably on the north side of Sheffield. I have searched the forum already and most of the threads about this seem to be quite old, so I'm looking for some more recent info.
I normally ride my mum's horse, but it's going to be too dark on an evening soon and my mum rides her at weekends, so I need somewhere I can ride over the winter. The only ones I've found online (via Google & the BHS website) with indoor arenas are getting on for £30+ for a group lesson, which seems ridiculously expensive, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere any cheaper. I've only looked online and most of the places that have websites seem to be a lot fancier than the sort of thing I'm used to...a bit of luxury is all well and good, but I don't desperately need several different arenas, heated lecture rooms or a cafe, especially if it means paying twice as much!!
I don't mind driving a reasonable distance (I'm in Hillsborough) if I can find somewhere good that's reasonably priced. Thanks for any suggestions!
