Kahn is amazing i knew he would win against Kindelan he should have won in the Olympics finals against him but he was unlucky too lose and get silver instead of gold......Anyway im just glad he won him to show he can beat him and he's not the best Amir Kahn is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......Anyway more views on the match just put 'em ere................
i think khan played well, but the judges gave him more in the face to face tussels i think. Im glad to see there was respect for both boxers. Whats with Ricky Hatton there isnt he heavyweight??
I thought Kindelan's effort was weak and he seemed to treat the bout like an exhibition.
Take nothing away from Khan though, he did everything he had to but I'm not sure he can reach the heights of genuine world champion. He does seem rather reckless at times and it will be interesting to see what his chin is like once tagged by a puncher.

Touch of realism needed, I think! Khan was outclassed in the Olympic final.
Good on him for winning last night, but I think there's a danger with getting carried away - there are a lot of wisened boxers out there who wouldn't mind knocking him down a peg or two, I'm sure.

No, that is just between fights when Hatton has a tendency to bloat up, hence the nickname Ricky Fatton. :D
They are in actual fact roughly the same weight, depending on whether Khan is going to campaign at Lightweight of Light-welter. I suspect Light-welter eventually.

Ricky Hatton had an official weigh-in last week and was only 4 pounds over his fighting weight! He went in to training for his next fight with Costa Tszyu 2 months early to get back in to shape.
4 pounds is nothing and he could make the weight in 1 or 2 days if he wanted.
Khan did well but i'm not 100% convinced the scoring was 'legit' :suspect:
I don't think Khan is as good as Frank Warren makes out but he's only 18, plenty of time to learn the ropes ;)

To be honest I think it was a fix. It was a good publicity stunt to end Khan's last fight as an amateur and pave the future for his professional career. How convenient Frank Warren wasn't there? Kindelan is a great boxer and he didn't even make a fight of it in the last round. I don't think a boxer of his class would take it so easy in his last fight. Personally, I think he was paid off! The fight was far too easy for Khan to win.
Khan can be good but he has to watch he doesn't get too big for his boots. We know what happened to Prince Naz. Khan definitely has great potential and lets just see if he can fulfil his very high expectations.

I totally agree it was a fix, big back hander for the cuban one thinks!. Alot of peeps i know who are well connected in the sheffield boxing world say the same. Kahn has no defence, its a big step up to proffesional. No doubt he will be paired against "hand picked" boxers! for his fights on ITV!. A bit like another boxer who won a medal in Sydney!!!
There is no evidence to suggest it was a fixed.
There are stories floating around that Kindelan received a £100k appearance fee.
The bottom line for me is that Kindelan's heart was not in the fight and he did not make his best effort and that could be for any number of reasons and only he knows the real one.
Khan certainly doesn't look any better than he was in Athens, so I refuse to believe that he has improved like he makes out.
There was nothing at stake in this bout for Kindelan, besides his reputation which has hardly been tarnished as a result.
Kindelan was visiting family members in Carlisle prior to the bout and perhaps his mind wasn't totally on the job.
And finally, perhaps Kindelan's age has caught up with him. I don't think so but you never know.
I've been a huge fan of Cuban boxing for many years and Kindelan is one of the best I've seen. If he would have defected and turned pro I'm convinced he would have been a legend in the pro ranks.
