Took him to the vets on thursday as he was sneezing and his eye was running (clear liquid) and the inside corner of his eye was red. I thought it was cat flu but it wasnt, apparently it was just a viral infection. (as the vet so rudely told me-he made me feel like I was fussing over nothing, I need to change vets)

He was given an injection and some eye drops to put in twice a day.

Well he is still no better, his eye is still running (when my cats have had eye infection before it has always been gunky stuff but this is just clear) and still bright red in the corner and he is still sneezing. today is the 4th day.

What shall I do? Im scared to phone my vets because they made me feel like I was wasting their time taking him in the first place :(

tak him back to the vets...use another one if you arent comfortable with yours..
it sounds like cat flu, my cat nearly died from this last year, i had to force feed him and make him take fluids from a syringe....dont let it get worse..take him back.

Luckily he is still eating. I think I will have to take him to the vets because he isnt getting any better. Dont think it will be Hallam vets where we are registered now though because they are useless.
