This question may sound pretty dumb but I need to know.

Right I have been saying that Lewis has been drinking 7oz bottles of formula but the way I have been doing it is 1 scoop per oz as the directions on the packet says.

Anyway I have realised that when the powder is mixed with the water the level goes up to over the 8oz mark.....

So is Lewis really having 7oz feeds or is it a 8 1/2 oz feed? :loopy::help:

i think you would call that a 7oz feed. thats how i say it anyway, as in the number of scoops or number of oz of water i use.

It's still classed as a 7oz feed (I asked the HV the same question) She said that even though there is a little more liquid, you've only put in X amount of fluid and the excess is a result of water displacement etc.
