Does anyone know where I can see one of the new ASUS EEE 1000 in Sheffield?

It's had great reviews but I've not been able to see one anywhere. It seems a close call between this and the Advent 4211.

Hi there - I am trying to contact you about your cooker for sale, but as I am a new member it won't let me message you. Can you get in touch by sending me a PM please?
Thank you!
:-)

You're probably best ringing Cole Brothers or PCWorld/Currys to see if they stock the Asus to view. The Advent appears to be an old machine compared to the Asus 1000 (and there are two models - the other being HE). The Asus 1000 apparently has a faster atom processor but does not have the new Intel GN chip which was released at the same time - I would be tempted to look for a net/notebook with the newer graphics chip as it should offer better resolutions.

Netbooks with the AMD Fusion chip seem to offer decent performance and extended battery life, but I haven't had a chance to look at one yet.
