I got two new kittens yesterday.

One of them is a tiny 10 week old tabby called Harry who I got from medusa's litter of angels.
The other is a 10 year old morbidly obese behemoth cat that has been asleep for the last three years:hihi:

Poor Harry is desperately trying to beat up everything that moves or doesn't move and he keeps getting 7 kilos of black fluffy lard landing on him or knocking him flying.

I was hoping Harry might inject some life back into Billy, but this is getting scary. All we can hear is manic chirruping and the sound of things being destroyed.
I fear I have created a monster.

Harry hasn't gone missing has he? There are posters around saying a kittern called Harry is missing. Oh hang on, that one is black and white not tabby.

Ooooh- sounds like you're all having lots and lots of fun then? ;)

I'm sure you'll get some sleep some time in the next year or so.

Last night things took a turn for the... well... embarrassing.

Harry was entertaining the neighbours and Billy had sloped off to bed to catch up on some sleep, Mojo was still sat in the corner growling and hissing and everyone was happy.

Harry then had a nap before bed, a practice we won't be encouraging, and we all relaxed.

Bedtime came.

Harry bounced in to the bedroom along side us, chirruping away. He bounced on the bed and spied Billy, who had just woken up. He rubbed his little head on Billy's chin and purred and purred. He then rubbed down Billy's side, still purring.
Billy had a quick sniff of his bottom. Harry had a quick sniff of Billy's bottom...

...only he took it a little too far.

Needless to say Billy's bum has never been so clean and he has also never looked quite so uncomfortable or violated either:hihi:

It's an important devotional duty for a subservient cat to wash superior beasties, after working out who's got the upper hand by the sniffing and rubbing of foreheads under chins etc.

Billy should have taken it all as a compliment! Never let it be said that I rear cats without some social skills!

1, Biting your own tail hurts less than biting someone elses.
2, 4 rats are more than any cat can handle.
3, Kitten food is for girls. Felix chunks in jelly is what it's all about.
4, Hair dryers are loud and to be avoided
5, Any cat with even one ginger hair is to be avoided as they are the devils work.

This litter were just the same- they were stealing mummy's crunchies before they had the teeth to break the biscuits up, which means that either they all teethed very late or they were weaned well before 4 weeks.

Young Harry looks very happy! I think the random smashing, crashing and thumping must be a genetic thing.....his mummy Tilly is at the moment sleeping after doing playing "george of the jungle" with my curtains earlier:hihi:

I must say that Billy looks like a big gorgeous cat and I'm sure he'll be teaching Harry some of his tricks (so you better buy yourself a tin hat!) :wow:
