just wondering if anyone else uses different windows XP themes?

here are some screenshots to show you what i mean:

Screen Shot 2 (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y234/Viper_999/SS5.jpg)

If you're wondering why there are some black boxes on the screen it'snot because i'm an international crime mastermind, but I am very conscious about privacy on the net, and there are multiple mouse pointers because i quickly merged a few screen shots to save time. I also didnt delibratley put the pointer over the HD to show off, just to show the colour of the text boxes.

Let me know what you think and your reasons aswell! :)

PS you may need to zoom in on the pics to view them in clarity(click on them)

looks good, although not entirely to my taste - i like plain and simple when it comes to my desktop.

so how is that done then? is it extra software or literally just XP themes?

i've played around with windowblinds (i think thats whats its called) but it just made my machine too sluggish.

Yeah it's a piece of software that utilises windows blinds, if you like basic there is a Windows 3.1 version :D

There are many different styles, 3000+ on the home site. i use WinCustomize (http://www.wincustomize.com) and there are many styles on there, simple and ludacris alike. They also offer many other customizing options like windows boot screen changer without hacking and hundreds of others. Fun just to play around with it.

We've made a pretty indepth thread about this over at CbtTechs.
We now have have loads of themes and applications there too.

Check out the full Operating System skin i'm using. It's a clone of Apple's OS-X.......Very nice indeed!

i use window blinds on my laptop, i'm using a skin called "Longhorn Slate" at the moment, which I guess looks something like the Longhorn beta. It's nice gray colours, and alternative buttons, bars, sliders and all that.

This is what mine looks like, I like it as simple as possible -

This is using GeoShell which is a complete replacement for the standard Explorer shell, it is a lot smaller so your pc loads a lot quicker! The desktop stuff is done with Samurize.
