Does anyone know how to reduce an avatar.
I have tried to post mine but i am told it needs to be 30 x 30 or is it 50 x 50, anyway I do not know how to reduce it.
It is a GIF image of a mobile phone taken from my website which is www.meriton-electrical.co.uk.
Any help be very much obliged
Regards
Tony
this online tool will do the job!!
www.gifworks.com/
Click on File....then select file open....upload the image....resize and resave!!
if it was just a regular still image rather than animated it wouldnt be a problem but i think its more complicated with the animagted stuff, if it was still id be able to sort it out in afew seconds, but i cant do animation, sorry

Difficult to resize to 50X50.
However, pretty easy at 50X38 (keeps the aspect ration).
In the tradition of Blue Peter "Here's (http://www.line1.co.uk/images/PHONE2.gif) one I made earlier";).

It kills animated gifs though:(.
And you get an annoying pop-up whenever you close it asking for a donation:(!

I might be able to knock one up (ooooer) that resizes & keeps animations;) and make it free, with no nag-screen.............
Maybe...
If i rember rightly Photoshop6 (http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/So...us/download.asp) allows you to break down animated Gif's and remove/manipulate each frame.
Quite good for editing photo's too! ;)
