Hi,

A work pal of mine has been telling me that he and a few others found a bomb at a farm in Manor lane in around 1973 - 5 ish.
Does anyone remember this. Apparently it was in the Telegraph & Star. I would look it up but the dates are a little wide apart.

not sure about your bomb story but back in 92/93 i think
I found a hand granade on some land near our house on Mansfield Dr, Intake & carried to the nearest phone box the police shut off 2 roads for 2 hours till the bomb squad arrived from Catterick.. that was also in Sheffield Star but i'm not too sure of dates to look up
