I've tried to look through the archive, but I'm not having much luck.

Someone on here must know when the Sheaf Market was knocked down. I know it was recently, as I can remember seeing it. Just not sure what year!

Also, what news on moving the market to the Moor? The information on the council website seems to be two years out of date. Personally I'd like to see it moved, and an attempt made to uncover some of the ruins and the Sheaf/Don junction... not sure on the costs/logistics though.

However, I found it was in 2002.

Yeah, I had a feeling it was 2002, as I was working at the SYPTE head offices back then (pretty much next door). My memory is fading...
