View Full Version : Yorkshire Crisps-anybody tried them?
I had the pleasure of trying some Yorkshire Crisps at a party last night, they were fantastic very posh but a little expensive.
The best flavour is the Sea salt and chardonnay flavour, has anybody else had the pleasure?

Never heard of them, but thank you, i can add them to my bring over here list for when my sister visits here this Sept, already have hendersons on the list, now these, my list is getting longer from things i'm reading on the Forum, she's going to have to buy another suitcase.
evildrneil 14-05-2005, 12:40 How can they claim to be Yorksire crisps without a black pudding or bread and dripping flavour???

Typo? Surely you meant a Yorkshire pudding flavour?
Sea salt and chardonnay flavour
Er, not traditional Yorkshire recipe then? Not where I live, anyway.

No haven't seen it before, but will check it out.
Thank you Kris.
I tried some of those on bank holiday monday they had them on sale in the National Trust shop at Fountains Abbey, I think we had the Tomato Basil and Mozzarella ones, they were nice but not really worth the £1.65 for the tub, you probably get the same amount of crisps in a bag of walkers.

chattygirl 02-06-2008, 10:11 they sell them in town , tried the hendersons relish flavour but wasnt that impressed.
I had some nice ones a few weeks ago that my hubby bought.
Instead of potato they were parsnips and beetroot and other veg deep fried.
They were lovely.
I cannot remember the name although i do know they were local and VERY expensive.
I think they were about £3.99 for a large packet.
They are lovely, its Tyrells that make them :)
dan_999uk 02-06-2008, 13:48 Chardonnay, that well known Yorkshire tipple.
