I'm not sure if I'll be going, but it's a very strong bill if this kind of thing is your bag.

Still haven't seen Judas Priest so its tempting, saw Rob Halford a few years ago and he was amazing, but that was backing a strong solo release. The last Judas Priest album was as stinky as an album could be....I was gutted! but they prob will only play 1 track off that so still maybe worth a punt.

Megadeth...hmmm.....prob like half their set......Testament....don't really know there stuff.

Went to see Judas Priest last time they played arena to be honest Rob Halford sounded dreadful I think his singing days are long gone:mad:

Having said that I am sure I will be going as OH is mad on them and he also loves Megadeth.

I want to see Megadeth, but not sure paying that amount would make it worthwhile.

I like some Megadeth. It's a shame, I've never really got into those three that well.

Better than a kick in't teeth though.

And for those essential pre gig drinks, get down to the Dove and Rainbow, only 1 minutes walk from the tram stop and with rock DJ playing classic rock too....its the pre gig choice for those must see rock gigs.....

I've a feeling (and hope) that Testament will blow 'Deth off the stage!

My OH went to this last night along with our three boys. Testament was their main reason for going, they played a blinder at Download last year, and they wanted to see Testament raise the roof again. Megadeth went down well. But the lads left half way through Judas Priest not their cup of tea (although the crowd were enjoying it).

I'm gearing up for Metallica in a couple of weeks time, yes !!!!

It was a great gig, but I enjoyed Testament more because I knew ALL of their songs. But yes, Megadeth (or MegaDave as we like to call them now) were great too.

Infact, I thought Priest were excellent, even thou I only knew about 4 or 5 of their's.

Didn't go to this one, but I saw Judas Priest on the Painkiller tour in about 1991ish, and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. I was right at the front at the City Hall.

They were knocking on a bit even then, though. Rob used to enter the stage on a Harley Davidson, it's probably a stairlift now.

Nope, he came on stage on a Harley!

I enjoyed the gig not to keen on Testament though.

Rob Halford was much better this time than when I last saw him was very impressed although the constant changing of outfits was slightly annoying
