Can anyone recommend good boarding kennels, preferably in the Mosborough area, though don't mind travelling if any come highly recommended. Don't necesarily have to be the same place for cat and dog, just want to make sure they'll be well looked after.

Hi, i can recommend Jaycliffe Kennels, but they are in Rotherham (thurcroft).

You would be better asking in the pets section,

Took my two doggies there in june... no problems, they went again in september.... BIG problem:o When i picked them up i could smell them before i could see them !!Imagin cow pats, dead fish and wet straw..THEY STUNK :gag: Wont be taking them back there again :mad:
Also.. you dont get to see the kennels that they are kept in, as they are taken from you at the house.:suspect:

another vote for Jaycliffe here

clean kennels, good exercise area, people who run it really know dogs and are fantastic with them

If I ever had to put Brude in kennels, he'd be going there (or Marshalls at Fence, but that's usually booked up)

I took mine to Bowslyon at this end Deep Lane, they were absolutely excellent with mine, £20 per night/day. She's never been in kennels ever at ten years old but they made her really at ease, I think she enjoyed her two week hol better than we did, cos we got soaked! lol

hi,im a cat and dog groomer at barlborough, not far from you.to my customers i recommend hickingwood kennels at clowne because many of my clients were going there so i called in unanounced and found them very helpful and friendly and above all nice and clean areas where the dogs and cats stay and like myself are very passionate about what they do.

Well after our experience of them, we would never ever return and never recommend them to anyone:rant:

Hi. I would like to recommend myself as a dog walker/pet sitter. I live at Waterthorpe, please take a look at my website and get in touch if I can help.
This will mean you can keep your dog and cat together in their own home and your house will be checked upon too.

I recommend Mutlins for your dog. They are fabulous and treat your dog as one of their own. We've used them twice and have booked them again for next year.

My employers have tried several kennels and now I stay with their dogs when they go away ! I think that says it all really
They have only found one kennel they like and that always booked well in advance thats green Acres near rotherham. They only use them when I go away with them !!

Thanks Gemima, we are getting there slowly. He is still receiving treatment at the vets and his next visit is tomorrow. We also still have to give him medication twice a day plus do foot washes for him.
