Hi I am 13weeks2 and havent started showing at all. im really quite tall and skinny and wonderng where this baby could possibly be hiding!

Ive heard that its usuall to start showing at 12 weeks, it doesnt take much to start me panicking about there being somthing wrong. and now im wondering if my baby is developing normally.

When did you start showing? do you think its anything to worry about??

I didnt start showing till i was about 17weeks. I can remember only having a little bump at my 20 week scan. Even now at 39 weeks im still in size 12 jeans. I dont think its anything to worry about. Have you had your first scan yet?

Hi, I noticed a difference in my self around 16/17 weeks but people didn't know I was pregnant at 20 weeks so I wouldn't worry. They say you often don't show until later with your first. Your scan should provide some reassurance that things are ok.

Yeah I had it a couple of weeks ago, and they said everyting seemed fine, but i seem to be loosing weight rather than putting it on, and im eating like mad! I way 8.5 stone and 5'9" so you can imagine how skinny I am!

I wouldn't be concerned about the bump not showing but perhaps if you are losing weight you could mention this to your midwife if you have one yet, or see the doctor just to put your mind at rest.

Have you had alot of morning sickness? You might be losing weight because of that. If they said everything was fine at the scan then the baby should be fine. But talk to your midwife or doctor if you keep losing weight.

I started wearing maternity clothing at around 18 weeks but then nobody could really tell until after christmas which I was around 26 weeks.

Everyone is different, don't fret. Your bump will come eventually. You'll be feeling baby move soon, too, which will make you feel better.
In the meantime, you can always ask your midwife for a chance to hear the heartbeat, to reassure you.

No I have only felt sick with my morning sicknessa and nothing has actually come up thank god! been very lucky! Will speak to my midwife re loosing weight!

Hi, Im 11 weeks and also naturally slim. I've still got a perfectly flat tummy and no sign of any baby! If I hadn't seen it on the scan already I would seriously be doubting if there was a baby or not! To be honest it's only recently I've started to get my appetite back as I suffered with terrible sickness and couldn't face anything to eat for quite a few weeks!

I've also heard that it takes you longer to show with your first baby. My friend was tall and skinny and she didn't show until 5 months and then all of a sudden she was huge!

I can't wait for my bump to come, I'm fed up of telling people Im pregnant and having them look at me as if to say I'm crazy as there's nothing there!

I heard the heartbeat at 10 weeks but I hired my own doppler. It was really hard to find. As the weeks go by the heart will grow bigger making it easier to find. I think the midwife first listened to it when I was 12 weeks

i am 22 weeks pregnant with twins and my bump has only just started showing

Its finally looking a bit tubbier :) just look like ive eaten too many pies at the moment though. going for 16 week bloods next week so going to ask the midwife to listen to the heartbeat! very excited and much less worried now.

I'm 18 weeks now and stil in my normal clothes. The only thing I struggle with slightly is jeans, my low rise jeans are still fine but if i wear higher waisted ones i fasten them with a hair bobble looped round the button!

I've got a slight podge and it really is podgy. I thought my belly would have at least gone hard! But if you didn't know i was pregnant you still wouldn't be able to tell.

Eeeek! That is a proper baby bump! I had a bump like that at about 34 weeks......:)

It is nice to get your belly early as you feel 'pregnant' I just looked a bit 'pie muncherish' for a while!
