Hi all i have a laptop wich i was using the other day all of a sudden it just closed down on me and now wont come back on it goes throu a check stage but just keeps repeating it sayin new installed data could be prob .Thing is i havent installed anything. So how much roughly to put laptop bk to normal and also my main descktop pc is workin its nutz of lol its constently workin the tower i get pop ups all the time and it takes ages to do anywork on this pc totally frustratin .I kneed this lookin @ aswell can someone give me price or rough price to sort both probs .cheers martin:loopy::rant::help::help::help:

how old is the laptop and tower?

my laptop is 16 month old and the tower is about 3 yr or so poss more .

Does it boot in safe mode of last known good configuration? keep pressing F8 on startup and it should come up with a menu.

A quick quess at the laptop,
mobo battery,or bios reset causing windows hardware boot refusal.

desktop req windows refresh.

But If I Try Either It Just Comes Bk To Same Page. How Much For Someone To Come And Sort These Probs Cause Im Sxxx With Pcs Lol

Just Done The F8 And The List Has Come Up To Repair Safe Mode Ect. Now What Shall I Do ?

try last known good first

if that works ok, repoot as normal
if ot try i again and try safe mode
if thats ok the try start help and support then system restorre and slecrt a date last week assuming system restore is switched on.
it will gurgle for about 10 mins then reboot

you can press pause to enable you to read the black screens
