hi everyone, ive recently had to change childcare and have put the monsters into nursery (kidz@work).... which is fab.

my baby girl is teething and has a cough and cold, shes a horrible grumpy little beast at moment! nursery rang me today and i went and got her and took her up to docs.....'shes fine, shes just got a virus thats going around' arrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg!!!!!!!!

and my boy is not sleeping at night, getting out of cot every couple of hours and asking for milk despite being nearly 3, he crys when i drop him off at nursery. i can understand its completly upset his routine but bloody hell, hes hard work at moment!!!!!!!

anyway, are these the joys of parenthood??!! just wanted a bit of a moan!!! does it get easier?? and when??

does anyone else ever feel like they r losing the plot?? sometimes i feel guilty moaning but its all such hard work at the minute, and ive just gone back to work after maternity leave so dont litteraly get a minuts peace.

HUGE hugs, hon. Of course you're not alone. As the mum of a 3 week old and a seriously independent (read bloody-minded) 3.5 year old, my default is 'losing the plot'. lol.

But things will settle, this is a difficult time, going back to work, etc. And you just know they'll do something soon that will melt your heart and make it all worth while :)

Aww hun sending you huge hugs too. I have a 11 month old who seems to also be a MONSTER at the moment. He is teething AGAIN and seems to be a little sod to get to bed. He has slept through for months anad then we seem to have a bad run. I dont think he has slept through now fr 2 weeks. My and Hubby are whacked! It doesnt help that we have all had this Gastroenteritus thats going around. Little one picked it up at nursery and bought it home for us all to enjoy - NOT!! Im hoping it does all get easier for us all. I swear nothing tests patience like parenthood!! They all go through good and bad phases just like we do. We are all human!
I totaly agree that if we cant all moan on here then where can we do it? Moan away it makes us all feel a hell of a lot better, and also makes us realise we are not all alone. esp when we are awake at 3am with the little ones - there are more of us in the smae boat then we realise :)
