Awww first time I ever heard that :D my piggies used to do something a bit similar not nothing as chirping as that, I hope it don't mean that they were miserable :confused:

I've heard it before on recordings, never first hand until now though

wow - you could actually believe that it was a bird making those noises! Moonbird- my pigs make an awful lot of noise, loads of different sounds too but nothing quite like that either!

2 of my piggies chirp and when they do all the other pigs just stand and listen to it.

haha that noise is mad, one of mine does that noise, what does it mean?!?!

(ive also noticed if i am being loud and shouting, one of my pigs chews, then stops when i stop shouting?!?!)

Think it means they are extremely happy when they "Chirrup" like that....awwww Heard once from somewhere they have around 50 different noises and all mean different things:hihi:

Actually no one really knows what it means. Some experts think its an early warning sign to the others in the herd, others think its a sign of extreme happiness, gues we'll never know

The one's I had used to whistle really loud if they thought danger, like cat approaching.....like you said babe, I guess we'll never know:hihi:

Ha, Ha, this is exactly what one of mine does, it's so funny, first time we thought it was one of my daughters toys, Bubble makes this noise quite often, her sister never does though,lol.
