Help!

im looking for the name of a film.

The basic plot outline is :

Theres a new ice age, and theres one submarine at a port somewhere in america i dont recall where, whos waiting for a scientist or something. he doesnt make it, but gives a group of survivors the location of the submarine to get to by a set time/date.

along the way, you see some crazy guy with a girl with a fur coat, and hes burning money as its of no use anymore, and someone gets shot or something.

theres also a family around a firplace burning furniture.

It came out around the millenium along with the spate of other disaster movies.

haha, nah it was before Day After Tomorrow im affraid :P Therefore it was the original ice age disaster movie. Both were crap films though none the less!
