Can anyone tell me what the large deserted looking building near the roundabout at the junction of Southey Green Road/Wordsworth Avenue used to be?

It kind of looks a bit like a cinema but I have no other ideas.

It was a cinema, and became a bingo hall (when lived near it in the early eighties it was still a bingo hall) then became disused.
