Just got a full set of golf clubs & bag from Glapwell car boot for £10.

A rare and valuable copy of Lord of the Rings for £3, that's worth much, much more :o
Just today I bought 3 illuminated and magnifying make up mirrors at Boots which were on at half price, but cos they were No 7 brand they were also on 3 for 2, then they took the half price off again, then I had an electricals voucher for £5 and a gift voucher, so got 3 mirrors for £9.99. Saving £110 for gifts.
Not bad :D

Mikey101 28-09-2008, 16:32 One of the best bargains in Sheffield has to be the Weston Park Museum :)
Totally free and well worth a visit
Loads of stuff for the kids to do as well
Could not believe it was free entry :)
Cheeky post here (will accept deletion of post as fair but a banning seems a bit heavy lol) - I'd love a bargain in the way of an as-new single mattress in Sheffield :)
Please PM quick if you don't subscribe to the 'wanted' thread so don't know that I'm looking....!
:hihi:
Edit - moving on quickly, my sis has given several things for free to forumers looking for pets stuff, and has also loaned a large dog cage to a forumer she didn't know but felt empathy for. I'd call that a bargain?!
Oh and we were able to benefit from the gift of a monitor that had no apparent value, but was actually of great use within our household. Another bargain! :)
Little_Bex 28-09-2008, 17:17 Found a complete set of golf clubs next to the bin in our apartment block. I dont actually play golf, but they look impressive in my hallway!
A book I bought for £12, read it and sold it on for £200.
Trolley from Tesco for free. They're a quid at Netto.

My ex suggested prositution when we were low on cash. She brought home £51. I asked who gave her the quid and she said they all did :hihi:. Bet you all heard that one but I like it.

It was called "Easy Connections". It's a teen book, but it's out of print and a lot of people have been trying to get hold of a copy for years. So once I'd read it I put it up on eBay thinking I might make a couple of quid - thinking it might sell for around £20. I was very pleased when it went up to £200!
Mikey101 28-09-2008, 19:21 Found a complete set of golf clubs next to the bin in our apartment block. I dont actually play golf, but they look impressive in my hallway!

Apart from that the nappies Waitrose were selling off at £2 - £3 a pack a fortnight ago - we have nearly enough to last until Christmas :-)
And a whole black sack full of baby girls clothes we bought for £10 from the classified - I can't believe how much or how good quality the stuff is..
