I think that he had a hut at Myrtle Springs and he probably got his flowers and some veg there. swfcsteve 30-09-2008, 22:49 i remember that van!! was only a kid at the time, late-ish 60's once ran down eastern avenue as he was pulling away, he stopped, i bought a 6d bubble gum, he said "it'll cost me more 'n that to start ruddy van up ageeyan". Davekowl 01-10-2008, 17:41 I remember the van well .My Dad used to by me a bottle of dandilion & burdock off it and I had to make it last all week.I never seemed to manage it but still had to wait till the next week before I got another one. |
