For those of you looking for writing groups and all round writing-related info, it might be worth popping down to Words Aloud and having a chat with either the organisers (I'm one of them) or other readers on the night.

We've seen lots of groups and projects develop through people meeting each other on the night and then going on to do their own thing.

Words Aloud is a spoken word night, by the way! Forgot to mention that.

The next event is actually this Tuesday, the 30th. It's a monthly event held at The Lescar on Sharrow Vale road (back room). Readers have three minutes to read anything they like, their own stuff or someone else's. It's an extremely friendly, informal atmosphere and the room is always full (too full some months!).
