Hi there is a company in Sheffield that sell digital cameras on Ebay called Trupix, they have a PO Box postcode of S35. Have you had any experiences with them before? Does anybody know anything about them or does anyone know where they are based etc.. Thanyou in advance.

Thanks Strix, I know these sources of info. I wondered if anyone worked or lived neat their depot.
Can you tell more? Or PM?
It's a bit quiet out there :(
Trupix sell digital cameras on ebay and on the internet via a shop I am still creating "Chiphead".
Bob who runs the business from home sells hundreds of cameras a week after setting up with his redundancy money. He does not supply the home address for security reasons.

Hi, In Response To Your Query Re: Trupix Cameras Of Sheffield England, I Recently Bought A Trupix Digital Camera And Have Had To Return It Twice. The Camera Was Faulty Within An Hour And Was Returned And Then I Found That The Returned Camera Wouldnt Even Take A Picture As When Pressing The Shutter to take a picture It Powered Down The Camera.
I Have Asked Repeatedly For The Return Of My Money But Unfortunately The Company Rarely Reply To Emails So Right Now Its In The Lap Of The Gods.
So If You Are Thinking Of Saving Money My Advice Would Be To You To Stay well Clear of TRUPIX And Buy A Quality, Reputeable Brand From a Business That At The Very Least Has A Phone Number And Not Just A Po Box With E-mail Adresses As You do not even know if they have received your submissions and are going to deal with them either.
Hope This Helps
Well I'm not going to print personal information, but if you do a whois search (google it) on trupix.co.uk you can see the (personal, not company) name & address of the site owner. & by the way it looks they happen to be within spitting distance of the local Trading Standards office.
Pay them a visit why don't you? 76 Bus runs every 10 minutes?

Thanks Steev,
Ermmm ..I would but I'm in Scotland lol.... I did mention that the camera was not in fact 'new' and that the camera was supposed to run on Li(on) lithium rechargeable batteries and that I'm sure that Trading Standards would find something interesting about it all but so far to no avail as they havent responded to my emails, but thanks for the comments.
In the meantime I'm contacting Ebay, Paypal and the Trading Standards people to try and get this mess sorted.
Ronnie, check your PMs

With your geographic location that'd have to be a single malt :hihi:
No worries dude, I think the guy may be a bit more enthusiastic on the customer service side if you sent him a letter.
