I am getting married next year - and I'd love some ideas from you all about what flowers I could grow myself (probably from seed) that would brighten up what is currently a rather plain community room.

We plan to keep it pretty low key - I'd panic at the thought of arranging flowers, so thought I would grow some in pots, decorate the pots and place them on tables.

I'm not very traditional - so anything that you think would look pretty and would be a reliable grower for a July celebration - let me know!! Thanks :)

a half way house would be to get yourself off to the farm/nursery opposite to the ridgeway craft centre, as they do arrangements in baskets/pots to order - you can take your own pots too :)

Hmmm - I'll check that out - I like the idea of cutting down on stress!!
