Is it just me .:D
But does anyone else find the Whiskers Cat milk just a little bit strange:gag:
If cows milk from cows and goats milk from goats and soya milk from soya beans .
Is cats milk from cats or is it just for cats?
See my problem its a bit disturbing:confused:
Does anyone else feel the same way or am I on my own with this one :hihi:

Our cat loves it. Vets don't recommend giving cats normal cow's milk as it has too much lactose in for cats to digest, and the brands of "special" cat milks have lactose reduced and vitamins and vegetable extracts added instead. We have tried giving our cat different brands but he won't touch any except Whiskas.

I have tried it out of curiosity and it is quite nice actually!

Shoved Ermi out of the way and lapped a bit up from his bowl... just to see what it was like!

(No, I tried a bit from the bottle really!)

My cat absolutely adores it but only gets it as a treat as it can become rather expensive the rate she laps it up!

As soon as you get the bottle out she recognises it and stands around her bowl meowing! She laps it all up and then comes and sits next to me asking for more!

It doesn't look appetising but it's much much better for them, Smudgie's sick each time she drinks normal milk but can't get enough of whiskers milk!

what a cracking sales gimmick!
get ordinary cheap milk, change the label & sell it to silly buggers for a vastly inflated profit!

:suspect: wonder if it would work with water?

no.... surely people wouldn't be that stoopid :hihi: :hihi:

I resent that Don!

I'm not stupid but buy it for my cat :suspect: as it happens I bought some for Smudgie today and she knew! oh yes she knew! She won't drink cow's milk anymore as she must be able to taste the difference, she will eat yoghurt, cream etc. but isn't fussed about milk. But I got the bottle out today and shook it and she went kerazy!

I nearly poured it on her head while I was trying to get it into the bowl and she was trying to drink it before it got there.

I just searched for this thread again when I looked across and saw her licking the last few smidgins from the bowl. And thought I'd let you know! If only I knew how to post pictures/videos, if I did, I'd send you a vid of her trying to lower the level as I try to increase it!

please don't resent it Lotti  I wuz just being flippant about the power of advertising.

:suspect: DK wonders what they put in it to make it addictive?

Probably "Ingredient - X" like they put in Big Macs?

Hope your pussy doesn't become a delinquent as a result like the poor folk we see dining in Macdonalds regularly :hihi:

We can assume this product is fully tested & approved by vetinary groups, and meets all necessary blah blah blah?

Like what Coca Cola did with Dasani Water :suspect:

It's ok DK I was only jokin!

Don't worry about my pussy - she's already a delinquent! No amount of cat milk or dodgy chemicals can make her any worse!

My other cat actually had to teach her how to use the cat flap :loopy:

I think animals often get treated better than humans as far as testing protocol is concerned and I'm sure that vets would have ok'ed it before it went on the shelf. She's never had any adverse effects, but it's too expensive to feed her all the time, so she gets it as a treat and drinks water most of the time! ;)

:suspect: hmm, she is laid stretched out across the floor after drinking cat milk, I'll let you know if she stops breathing...
