Can anybody recommend a cheap and cheerful graphic tablet that will work with mac os x and where to buy one from. I brought one from maplins yesterday ( Trust 1200) but the drivers only work on OS9 classic
Thanks

Ah, I was going to get one of them soon. I'll buy it off you if you don't want the hassle of trying to return it. PM me if you'd like to shift it!

Apparently Wacom & Airtek (never heard of 'em personally) tablets are good for Mac drivers.

Why are Wacom tablets so much more expensive than the trust types?

I have a small Wacom 6x4 tablet which I use all the time. I would like an A4+ tablet, but the cost is prohibitive. I am suspicious of the extremely cheap prices on other tablets - are they really comparable to the Wacom tablets?

Anyone with experience of both?

I'v used cheap and expencive tablet's (wacom) and you can definatly tell the difference. With cheaper 1s you have to hold the pen at certain angles for the pressure sensers to work propperly and occasionally the cursor jumps about like a crazy thing. + generally get alot more problems with drivers etc. I'd rather have a small Wacom than a large trust anyday.

I bought a well cheap one from maplin a few years back, it was rubbish, jamstudio I think. It didn't even have XP drivers, completely unusable.

Saw some in PC world a few months ago that were about £40, they may have been wacom or Trust, looked ok tho!
