I was wondering based on the fact that I have had several enquiries recently from some desperate parents with kids with Asperger Syndrome if any of you may interested in this idea.

As you may know, I offer a programme of training to companies and advice and guidance to people with a diagnosis and their families .I approach this from a personal angle, having a son aged 18 with AS and having it myself. I also worked in the field of supported employment where I was successful in getting some people with AS in to work. I am doing some training soon for VAS.
I thought it may be cost effective if you could get a group of you together and I could do a session say of 2 hours where I can cover any topics relating to difficulties that you are facing or go over any concerns about why your child is behaving and suggest some coping strategies. A lot of children with AS get stressed and anxious and can get angry and lash out.Over the 18 years of dealing with my son, I have learnt techniques to enable us to cope better. These are not from a manual or from the internet, but from my experiences.

I spoke to someone recently who said it would be cost effective to get a few parents together to offer to do training for them and then they may be able to afford it.
What does everyone think?
I could maybe get a room for us if I can make it work out OK with the cost.
