"A bad day at the office"

"Garbage"

Complete the missing phrase and win a prize! Well, not a prize exactly, but if you know the phrase that comes next you'll probably know the result from today's match, Norwich v Sheff U, because the above quotes are Blackwell's summary of United's performances in their last 2 games against a team who hadn't won for a year (Derby County) and another team who are at best expected to finish no higher than mid-table (Coventry City).

I am not in the habit of leaving a game early but the other night against Cov I'd decided I'd had enough. The football was just awful from United - clueless, uninspiring, boot it up in the air stuff.

I must admit, I think the honeymoon period with Blackwell will soon be over. The football United are turning out is tripe and it's Blackwell's long ball and defensive tactics that are the reason.

And still our best players are those signed by Robson.

I will be interested to see which phrase Blackwell uses to describe the expected failure at Norwich later today.

I think the username says it all:loopy:Yes Robson signed theses players but didn't have the tactical knowledge to know how to use them, yet Blackie got the best out of theses players and will again once we have a settled starting eleven.
Yes we've been poor the last couple of matches but i still think we will come good and finish up there.

It's too soon to be getting on Blackwell's back but the main mistake he has made so far is playing Nick Montgomery in central midfield. He isn't good enough and we need someone creative or at least someone with decent passing ability.
