My mother-in-law has recently died and my father-in-law has been told he needs to return her passport. Can any one tell me (politely) where we send it to. He is getting rather worried as it is official. I have told him not to bother be he needs to do the right thing.

On angel Street at the Sheffield Co-Op post office (opposite the Argos) in town, they have one counter as a "passport section", have a word with them, they will take it off you and send it on to the right place or give further advice.
