Does anyone know what the Queens Tower (http://www.blundells.co.uk/queen_tower.html) apartments are like to live in?
One of my friends has just applied for a tenancy on one of the apartments and I was wondering what the apartments and area was like to live in?
There is a thread about Queens Tower somewhere

And if your friend wants to know what the Norfolk Park area is like to live in, you can look up the evidence on this thread*......
Norfolk park area, good? bad?
* this became a rather heated debate between a single forummer who decried the area (despite not having any substantial evidence on which to base his claims) and local residents and others who set the record stright.

My sis live there. She love it and i think it looks really nice too. I'd pick it over any of the city center apartment complexs.

I've looked round them - they are stunning and better value for money than west one when you compare the size.
I am looking to move out of Jet Centro (fed up of the hotel room system they have in there - the guests of which overlook my flat and stare in at me and my partner, grrrr) into Queen's Tower. I've walked up there and it looks amazing, area and development.
I can't find that Queen's Tower link (tried 'Queen's tower' search) though, so I thought I would carry on this thread. Generally people like the place, but how is it for commuting?? I commute to Leeds every day so I am always wary of moving further from the train station?
Do I stay in Jet Centro and deal with the lack of privacy, or move to Queen's Tower and add 15 mins to my (1 hr 15 min door to door) commute??
One of the girls I work with lives there, and it's only the second tram stop after the railway station itself so I wouldn't think you'd be stretching yourself much further.
I live in Queens Tower and it's fantastic!
The apartments are better than others I looked at in the city centre, the location and views are amazing and it's great for the 'wow factor' when people first visit!
People are cool too! Many keep themselves to themselves but I've also made some really great mates living here.
It's also handy for public transport, being right next to the tram tracks. So you can grab a tram into town and its just about stumbling distance if you fancy the walk back! Though the hill at the bottom of Park Grange Road is a bit of a killer sometimes!

Sounds really amazing. Also, I heard that there is a communal barbeque area or something. Do people use it?
Yeah that's right!
It got used a LOT last summer, mainly by us when having parties!
