I thought puppies could go out one week after their second injection but when my pup had his 2nd injection today the vet said wait another 2 weeks!

What do others say?

yes I'd go with vet, as it takes a good two weeks for puppies immune system to kick in, if your garden is not visited by stray dog's you may be safe to let him in garden for a short time...better to be safe! I've seen what Parvo does to dog's and it aint nice!

I've been told 1 week, 10 days, 2 weeks by different places - I went with 10 days just to be on the safe side. If some vets say 1 week, then 10 days must be ok I figured.

I think the ones who say 2 weeks (my vet said 10-14 days) are just covering themselves *just in case*.

Yep that sounds right, our vet said a week after the second jab i think. It takes a while to get into the pup's system, listen to the vet!

My vet says a week after last injection.

We was advised 2 weeks after the 2nd injection but was told the garden is fine as long as no other dogs have access to it.

we did the 10 days thing in public places but we'd already been taking her out to Derbyshire and walking her on her leash away from other people and dogs (we carried her if we were in a car park or anywhere more public), because she was driving us nuts wanting to go out and exercise

We followed vets instructions and let Ozzie and Tyler out 2 weeks
after 2nd injections:)
