I noticed yesterday on our road that there is a fair amount of Moss that has seemingly fallen out of the gutters onto the pavement along several parts of the terraces. There was quite a lot in front of our house. Does anyone have experience of what could have caused this? Could birds be nesting up there? I am confused as to what it could be as it wasn't just in one spot - it's pretty consistent in front of maybe 5 or 6 of the houses... Any ideas?

When it happens round here it's normally due to our resident magpies picking about in it looking for insects.

The gutters could be full to overflowing.
I'd be happy to come and clean yours, call me for a price.
