Saturday the sun is shining and I'm just returning home with the latest vehicle. After six months searching for a low mileage BMW 3 series touring with exceptional History I'm nearing home. The pennines were a mere blur, the transcendence of them effortless and I was all but 400 yds from home when a ?£$%^(*& Broadband Van pulled out of a side road. After taking out a lady with two kids in the back of her car it then propelled there car into mine. Now mine looks like a right off So do I hold the record for fastest right off in the city or do you know different. We're looking at approximately 90 minutes of ownership before impact.

Would that have been a white van, by any chance? ;)
(Glad you're ok)

That's the important part. Thank God for that.
Hope nobody has nightmares either :(

Predominantly, but with a bit of colour to liven up the bland whiteness of the aforementioned vehicle. No doubt it soothes the nerves of those who are about to get mashed.

I know someone who used to work at carfour Renault sheffield (which dissappeared about 15 years ago). And more than once a customer wrote a brand new car off on the way out of the showroom before it had even 1 mile on it's clock. People sometimes panic in a new car and loose control accelerating into a lamppost, the wall opposite side of the wall, or an oncoming vehicle.

Car written off being delivered to Mother in Law from showroom 2 miles away. She wrote off her previous one driving into the back of someone. She took this as an omen, got her money back and never drove again.
I remember someone who had a knackered old Capri arse ended some blokes brand new fresh from the showroom Jag and wrote it off.
I've only ever written the one car off, 3 times. Can't beat your time though!

I heard that a new Vauxhall from Hartwell was driven out on the firstday of March 04, (new reg) and pulled out in front of a 4x4 which ripped the front of it off.
