Hi, I'm looking to create a low hedge (about 1.5ft high) down the side of our driveway using Common Box.

Can anyone tell me if I've missed the planting season? If so, when should I now be looking to buy & plant them?

Now is the best time of year to start planting hedges and shrubs. The ground is still warm enough to encourage a decent root growth and won't dry out too quickly. Box is a slow grower though and the plants are quite expensive if you're looking to create a long run of hedge. Watch out for slugs too!
