He was in the Blades ranks not that long ago so Blades tactics and training will be still fresh. This will give him a real inside edge as he will know inside and out how to turn the defense into tangles. if it's any consolation Man UTD had a bad day too, granted not against the worst team ever but still shows the mighty can fall. UTB mack69 15-09-2008, 12:56 is it to early to say that blackwell sold hulse and stead to early and would any off you blades like to have seen one or both off them still at the lane ?(serious question) no pee take :D Ousetunes 15-09-2008, 13:28 It was a poo performance but the script was written before hand. That Derby would end their jinx with Hulse scoring the winner. Stead scored for Ipswich (on loan) and Kabba scored the winner for Blackpool. I still believe that getting rid of these three players was the right thing to do. Also, I can't recall the last time I watched the Blades on tele where they actually played well. Too many players having an off-day, no midfield, no interest upfront and tactically wrong. Beattie and Cotterill should have been introduced well before they got their chance. Could be worse. If things are suddenly bleak down at the Lane due to one uncharacteristic performance then it must be raining brimstone and ashes up on Tyneside. mack69 15-09-2008, 14:12 It was a poo performance but the script was written before hand. Doesn't lessen the disappointment though. Still, it's early days yet. :| canadablade 16-09-2008, 01:59 If truth be told and someone on the opposite side had to score the winning goal I'm glad it was Hulse. Good luck to him at Derby  canadablade 16-09-2008, 02:01 well spotted mate, i also spotted that, is the blade thats always slagging other people of for being thick? lol.:D:D:D:D:D think what you meant to say was Is THIS the Blade that's always slagging other people OFF for being thick :o canadablade 16-09-2008, 02:20 did not realise stead was only on loan Hes not Macky, Its now a permanent move http://www.virginmedia.com/sport/football/football-league-news-story.php?storyid=33062277 Muppeteer 16-09-2008, 12:10 think what you meant to say was Is THIS the Blade that's always slagging other people OFF for being thick :o The answer is yes :D crookesey 16-09-2008, 13:14 Even us Blades make the odd mistake but, when it came to picking what team to follow we got it right :banana::banana: Being a Blade is more than the odd mistake, illiterate plank comes to mind. :hihi::hihi::hihi: |
