it seems a real shame that you are having to get rid of them, especially your rottie at 7.
having kept rottweilers for many years i think i can safley comment on them and if you have had candy from a pup, this rehoming will nigh on destroy her, rotties are very VERY loyal dogs and i think she will find it a lot harder than you think to settle in a new home, can you not get a family member to watch em.
i know its hard but my heart is breaking for that rottie already:(

Are you working full time vickylisa or just a few days? Would it be possible for you to have someone just come in during the day and let them out for a wee or a half hour walk or so? Which area are you?

I am sorry but I really have to close this now, please pm the op about your good alternatives to rehoming the dogs, sometimes all it takes is a little help and the dogs can stay :)
Please fill in the template here (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=391316&highlight=dog+rehoming+template) for both dogs and send to one of the group leaders who will add it to the thread for you.
Good luck I hope that you manage to resolve the problems without rehoming.
