Well, the title of the thread says it really. Bus tickets from sheffield are about a 100 quid for two! Wondered if anyone had space in a car/wanted to share our car?

With practice, my dear, practice! Two more chords and I'll form a band! ;)

Sorry....really bad joke!

Good Luck!

Joe

Sadly I have an exam a few days after the festival so I won't be going :(

JoePritchard, I think you should give us a lift, just for making that terrible joke. You can pick us up at 10 on the 22nd. Its only in somerset ;)

Thats a real shame Ian are you planning on going to any other festivals? Leeds isn't sold out yet, I don't think.

No probably not

Bit short of money and I'm hoping to change that in the summer by working constantly :P

Kathy....

I've arranged a lift through the glasto msg boards. Go to the Glasto msg boards, and then to the liftshare section, and I'll see you in Lost Vagueness.

I am quite jealous. I forgot to wake up in time to get a Ticket. I believe Leeds is sold out too. No festivals for Andy this year :(

in previous years we've gotten the national express service from london, its been about £20 each and drops you off right at the front gate, quite convenient. this year we're taking the car because we're taking more stuff and more people are coming with us! The train to bristol and then shuttle bus service is supposed to be quite good too.

Thanks for your replies :)

Think we may just have to get the NEx from shef. It takes about 7 hours and is really expensive, but I think it'll be better than trying to drive back when we're both completely mashed!

Still think you should try the liftshare idea.... someone will pick you up from your house, drive you there and then drive you back. In return you split the costs of the journey.

has anyone else got their tickets yet? i got an email saying they had tried to deliver them but i wasn't in and they left a card. however, i was in all last week and they didn't come - and there was no card left either so i'm confused. has anyone else had a similar experience?

also, basement jaxx and primal scream are now headlining on sunday.

my housemate got an email saying that. I think he is arranging to have his tickets delivered to work. Our tickets are meant to be going to my boyfriend's parents house, as there is usually someone in - unlike our own houses. Haven't been told that they've arrived yet.
