Well BoppinBruce, in the UK we don't have a state of the nation speech, as we don't have a president.

However, I would imagine that Tony Blair has opened a bottle of bubbly to celebrate Labour's historic third consecutive win. I know I did!

Red, Yes the tories dropped 'Bambi' a considerable time ago but the name has been resurected in the newspapers last week e.g. Tony Blair wins third term of office. Returned as leader more times than Bambi returned to the silver screen.......or words to that effect so I think that the name has stuck.

I also realise we dont have a state of the nation speech, or equivilent, but the times when he has addressed us via the television it has been well orchestrated with product placements statigically on view, hence the question.
