Cubana has a happy house between 5-6.30 I believe when cocktails are significantly cheaper than later on. If you want dinner, they'll do 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine for £25. And it had a great atmosphere. Popolos have 'Mojito Wednesdays' when they are all about £3.50 I think, but I've not been there yet sadly. Vodka Rev's cocktails are fab but not sure when/what offers they do. However I've not drunk cocktails at Popolos yet and the menu looked pretty good when I had a look. A lot of bars offer cocktails these days but I've found it's normally done as an afterthought and the quality can be sketchy. If you ask these to do a common cocktail not on the menu and they say no then I think you know you are not in the best place for it. |
