Hi peoples,
Need one more housemate to occupy a large fully furnished single bedroom in a four bedroom house.
The house is well looked after, clean and much better than regular student accommodation, viewing essential. The house is located about 15 minutes away from Hallam University (city campus), near Granville road, about 20 minutes from the centre of town. Has good access (2 min walk) to public transport – Bus, Tram and train stations. Finally is a 25-30 minute walk to Sheffield University Union (15 minutes on bus or tram).
House has:
Bathroom, with shower and bath
Bedrooms all fully furnished including bookcase, desk, bed, side cabinet and wardrobe
Comfortable living room with nice furniture and large(ish) TV
Largish dinning room with dinning table and extra TV
Kitchen, including new cooker, washing machine and tumble dryer
Good sized basement (semi-converted into darts room and storage area)
Central heating
Double glazing
Well-maintained garden
Lots of places to park a car
The rent for the single bedroom is £60 a week (The contract is negotiable from a single semester to 11 months etc…). The rent includes phone line (Cost of calls not included) and TV licence.
The deposit is £250 while bills are split equally. (Deposits are negotiable for single semester students etc…). I have worked out approximations for bills e.g. gas, electric, internet and water. Total comes to around £9/10 pounds per week.
Currently there are three of us living at the house, 2 guys and 1 girl. We are all easy going with varied interests and enjoy going out for the occasional drink or party. Iv lived at this house for the past 3 years with no problems and now act as the land lords agent which means I sort out the rents and any problems that might come up, e.g. if the plumbing goes I make sure a plumber is called asap etc... I do what a normal landlord does basically.
Tidy, non-smoker preferred.
