Ive just moved to Southey Green & would love to know if there are any pubs near

I'm afraid the Magnet was knocked down a few years ago. There is I believe Southey Social Club. Can't recall anymore. Probably best walking down to Wadley Bridge or I think there is a couple on Herries road.

If you visit Google Maps (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps), click 'Local Search', and type in 'pubs' and your postcode, it will show the nearest ones for you. :thumbsup:

You are best going to Wadsley Bridge, as there are a few down there, Southey has none now. There is one next to Tesco`s down bottom of Moonshine Lane

That sounds like the Devonshire arms. There is also the Forty Foot close by.

the pheasant is a good pub, not the one at lane top but the little one on trafalgar rd, wadsley bridge, bottom of foxhill. if thats not to your taste then theres several others nearby.
