Yes, I felt the girls move at 11 weeks and with it being your third I have every faith that you know the difference between wind and wiggling :)

Yep you definately know your own body with your third. I felt everything really early and looked pregnant really early. I even started feeling sick virtually as soon as she was concieved. Congratualtions. x

Why not? I felt a 'butterfly' movement at 16 wks, but little more than that until about 22 wks and from then on my entire stomach would move (I used to sit and watch it lurch from one side to the other, fascinated - and missed that once he was born!) and I still have the 'pointy' bit he made when making room for his large self ;)

My friend just found out she is having twins but they are her 3rd/4th! She will have 4 under 6 - her house will be crazy when they arrive !

I'd guess it's the babies. The feeling I had was entirely unlike anything I'd ever felt before and I knew it had to be. Sure enough, once it became obvious visibly, I could be even more certain.
I have non identical girls. Let us know what your scan says.
Ohh and 1 tip - if you start buying stuff, I started asking everyone to extend the 'returns' period just in case I got a surprise boy. Everyone did it for me :)

So, 'the pointy bit'. I'm curious about this. Do people mean where the top of the bump was? If it is, then hurrah! I'm not the only one.

even though they are supposedly girls i am still telling people get neutral stuff yeh this feeling was nothing i had felt before one side went really tight for a few secconds, it is hard to explain

I'm not pregnant but I sometimes definitely get that sort of feeling!!
I used to love feeling my babies move when I was pregnant, I found it really reassuring.

heartburn is awful - suffered through out most of my first pregnancy before realising that my midwife could perscribe something for it! duh! But threw away dosage spoon within about a day and just used to swig from the bottle! Gaviscon junkie- that was me.

well it is impossible for steve to be preggy but he new i was pregnant before i did and milk just made me even sicker so i will have to try rennies or gaviscon thanks

Yeah, the pointy bit at the top of the bump! Glad it wasn't just me ;) It's still there, too! It seemed to get forced out whenever he moved about. Is there a name for that? It was a weird bump though, it was all forced upwards and outwards, probably as he was so big and tall, not sideways at all. Then at the very end it went downwards too, which felt quite grim. :(

Do you find it's still there if you arch backwards as if you're going to do a backbend?
Mine seems to be permanently changed and slightly triangular as I lean back, seriously dubious.
I know the rib cage expands so I'm not sure if the two are related.

I first felt baby alien moving at about 13 weeks, but doubted myself for a few more weeks. Officially I was 16 weeks when I first felt him move, when it was unmistakable (and hence when I knew all those flutterings for the past 2-3 weeks were him) - I was stuck underground on a halted tube, stressing that I wasn't going to make the deadline to hand in my thesis! :hihi:

I can't imagine twins, but recently a few people I know have had 'twins dreams' about me, and so have I! One of my friends is psychic too, so that's even more unnerving!

my mums friend is psychic and he told me it was twin girls and hey that is what i am supposedly having and the movement has got a lot more noticeable, i am loving it
