I'd probably talk to Jeremy Kyle, and tell him what a crap show he hosts.

(I know he's not dead, but a bloke can dream, right?)

I think I'd want to talk to Hitler. I'd ask him how he managed to orchestrate such a mass brainwashing of a society and what his plans would have been, if he had been successful.

Jimi Hendrix, i'd get him to play me all the newest riffs he'd just written and then once the hours over, plagiarise them and make millions as a guitar virtuoso.

No question, it'd be Tolkien and I've a list as long as my arm of things to ask him. Number 1 of course being "Do balrogs have wings?" :hihi:

Carl sagan. I would love to know what he would think about the discovery just a few years after his death that the expansion of the universe is actually accelerating...

I'd like to talk to my hero Anicius Boethius (c.480-524 AD) but I fear the conversation would be a bit onesided as I wouldn't be fluent enough in Latin (or Ostrogothic Germanic) to hold a decent dialogue...ah well, I can still read his books, that will have to do.

People can and, indeed do, spend many hours conversing with dead persons - These people can often be found in Burngreave Cemetery, together with their cans of White Lightning.

Ha! My own world domination will be considerably less cataclysmic and involve 0% ethnic cleansing.

Do they come back to life for that one hour though, because it wouldn't be much of a conversation would it? :hihi::hihi::hihi:

some fraudsters, err I mean spiritulists claim to be able to speak to the dead, but all they seem to get is uncle Fred likes the wallpaper in the hall, or grandma's very happy you got a new dog.

but if I could talk to a dead person, what I really would like to know is what's it like being dead?

Jean Vander Pyl - aka the voice of Wilma Flintstone (along with loads of other characters such as the robot in the Jetsons), I loved her voice! She made the already gorgeous Wilma into a sex Goddess!

I preferred Betty though...

Erm..

If I could talk to a dead person , it would be my Dad as I haven't spoken to him since i was 5, the day he died to be precise and even 39 years later I still miss him and have some memories of him.
I would never go to a spiritualist or Medium as I wouldn't know for real if it was him or not!

Even though its been 39 years sometimes for me it feels like yesterday so a year is nothing and I think its good to always remember him but with Joy and sadness combined. My dad was so special to me as he adopted me at 6 weeks old and gave me things I would have never had if i had not been with him.

I would talk to Barry the tramp from the city centre.

Otherwise I might speak to Kiera Knightly, I believe her to be dead judging by her acting.

I think I'd want to talk to Hitler. I'd ask him how he managed to orchestrate such a mass brainwashing of a society and what his plans would have been, if he had been successful.

Hitler's plans were to form a European Union dominated of course by Germany - he'll be turning in his grave now that they've come to fruition, without a single shot being fired and with the complicity of Europe's fat-cat politicians.

I'd pick my gran. It'd be interesting to talk to her as an adult as she's probably the adult out of all my childhood who I held the most respect for.

Interesting and rather nice that several of us choose a close family member rather than a historical figure
For me it`s my dad who died in 1954 when I was 7. I hate it that I remember so little of him.
