Well done sony.
Please tell us about your first solo journey. I'll never forget mine, I just drove in a straight line, not wanting to make a turn. With the radio on very quietly so it didn't make me loose concentration.
That was 17 and a half years ago..

Nice one Sony.

I'd go out for a drive on your own tomorrow morning when there isn't too much traffic about - it is the only way to build up confidence.

Freedom is just another word for having a driver's license. What a feeling when the L plate comes off

If you were in one of most American states you could have your drivers license at 16 after a very basic test that a moron could pass. You would then demand from your parents your own car. Not a Ford Focus mind you, but at least a Mustang or Corvette and Mummy or Daddy would buy it for you, or you would feel deprived and that would never do. You will then go out in it with your girl friend or your buddies, and perhaps not make your 17th birthday. A lot of kids don't. So if the driving test in UK is as tough as it was when I took mine back in the fifties, be thankful you passed. You are already a professional!

Well done Sony! I remember the day I got my first car (a week after I passed my test), I drove around on my own until about 4am! That was late for me in those days! :)

Congratulations Sony.

Take is easy though, as I'm not sure if Someone is trying to tell us something.
Sequential 'Thread Titles' at this moment read:

We're all going to die! The end of the World is nigh

Alfa 166 any good?

Maniacs on the motorway!

I just need to tell you all, I passed my driving test!!!

I just can't believe this could have happened.

:D

He he he will take it easy, trust me! What I'm actually worried about is not venturing out far enough. I drove up the road yesterday and that was it. i don't feel I'll ever be ready to attempt Brook Hill roundabout or the old Safeway roundabout! I have to try and go further that up the road!

Very true! I've learnt more in 2 months than I did in the 9 months it took me to learn!
