I need to buy one of these but I just wondered how widely available they were. Are they something I can get from a local chemist or a supermarket or are they more specialist and I'll need to visit a proper baby shop?

hiya, Boots sell these. You may need to ask at the pharmacy part but they'll likely be on the shelf.

We've got two threads relating to this somewhere - my experience is James Babycare do the best shaped one and it in a pack with nail clippers etc and made by a company called something like 1st Aid... but that's not quite right.

Mine was in a kit from toysrus. I still haven't used half the stuff in it, but I feel better for having it ;)
